about me
Intro
I'm Tamara — a designer and artist working across brand identity, surface pattern, and multisensory experience design. My studio and shop, The Phoenix Palms, is a Caribbean Diaspora-rooted design house; my personal practice runs alongside it, in fine art printmaking, art direction, and the kind of brand systems that hold together across every touchpoint a company actually has.

What I do
Brand identity systems for founders and small teams — the strategy, the marks, the color and type systems, the guidelines that let someone else keep the identity consistent after I hand it off. Surface pattern and fine art printmaking rooted in Caribbean visual tradition, sold direct through The Phoenix Palms and licensed for editorial, film, and product use. Art direction and creative consulting for projects that need someone who can hold a whole aesthetic — brand story, visual system, material choices, sensory register — at the same time.

Who I'm a good fit for
Founders and creative directors who need identity work that will hold up under scale. Editorial, film, and product teams looking to license Diaspora-rooted surface pattern or fine art. Collectors and interior designers who want work with real cultural weight for real rooms. Companies hiring in brand design, art direction, or multidisciplinary design roles.
