Ebango is a blockprint — stacked ridges that pinch at the center and swell at the ends, rising like rungs between two undulating borders, held together by small rectangular stitches along the seams. The pattern carries the logic of West African textile and architectural form: rhythm built through repetition, structure built by the hand.
Available in two colorways:
Laterite Ground — burnt clay ground, cream pattern rising out of it like something carved from the earth
Cassava Ground — warm white ground, the pattern pressed into it in deep sienna, sharp and clean as a fresh print
The pattern carries the hand-cut grain of block printing — edges that breathe, surfaces where the ink sat unevenly and dried with texture. Every mark shows how it was made.
